The Implant Process
The dental implant is placed by an oral surgeon or periodontist and the procedure typically takes about 30 minutes. Most people have little to no discomfort after the procedure and return to work the following day.
Once the implant has healed, a small connector called an abutment is placed into each implant. A custom bridge is then fabricated to match the color, size, and shape of the teeth being replaced.
Taking care of your new implant restoration is as simple as proper brushing, flossing and professional preventative care visits.
